Zha Cai And Pork Ribs Soup
榨菜肉猪肉汤

Ingredients

  • 500 grams pork ribs (cut into 2 inches length)
  • 250g zha cai (cut into quarters)
  • 1 carrot (cut into quarters)
  • Some button mushrooms
  • 5 tbs of mushroom water
  • 4 cloves garlics
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1.5 litre water

Preparation

  1. Put pork ribs to boil until it turns whitish in colour. Rinse them over tap water and drain well.
  2. Soak zha cai for at least half an hour and drain well to reduce its saltiness. Cut into slices.
  3. Slice the tomatoes into wedges.
  4. Peel and cut the carrot diagonally.
  5. Add all the ingredients into the pot and bring to boil.
  6. Reduce heat and cover lid. Simmer the soup for 2 hours. Serve hot.
